"Battery White Easement Signing"

On April 4, 2009 the Belle Isle Yacht Club signed a conservation easement with the SCBPT protecting the National Register of Historic Places property, Battery White.  The signing took place during a dedication ceremony in front of the earthworks.

"Christmas of 1862"

Many thanks to the SC Ladies Auxiliary, the Marion Light Artillery, the Friends of McLeod, Sons of Confederate Veterans, the re-enactors, Dr. Stephen Wise and W.J. Keith as well as Ted Ford the Town of James Island and all the others that worked to make our "Christmas of 1862" event a success.  We'll see you again next year.
